The passing away of one's closest friend of childhood is a testing event. My dearest of friends, Meraka Abdelaziz (Rahimahoo Allah) had a fatal accident just a few months after I last saw him in one of my rarest trips back to visit Algeria. Words cannot convey the sense of loss and the weight of love and admiration I have for this brother. So, I wrote a short eulogy type of "poem" (despite my lack of mastery of this noble craft) to express my thoughts of him and the sweet memories he and I shared during our childhood years. RIP
